Betadine Surgical Scrub Microbial Cleanser
Betadine Surgical Scrub is a germicidal cleanser for pre- and post-operative scrubbing or washing. Contains 7.5% povidone-iodine equal to 0.75% available iodine. Not for use on food producing animals. Betadine® Veterinary Microbicides are not for use on food-producing animals. Povidone-iodine, the active ingredient in Betadine®, is active against a broad spectrum of pathogens in vitro.

•For use on companion animals, including dogs, cats, and horses
Uses:
•For preparation of the skin prior to surgery
•Helps to reduce bacteria on the skin that potentially can cause infection
WARNINGS:
For external use only.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT:
•In the eyes
•On food-producing animals
WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT:
•Prolonged exposure to wet solution may cause irritation or, rarely, severe skin reactions
•In preoperative prepping, avoid “pooling” beneath the animal
STOP USE AND ASK A VETERINARIAN:
•If irritation and redness develop
•In rare instances of local irritation or sensitivity
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
