A single, oral dose of Zimecterin Gold Ivermectin & Praziquantel Paste Horse Treatment can help you treat and control parasites in your horse, including large and small strongyle, pinworms, ascardis, hairworms, large mouth stomach worms, bots, lungworms, intestinal threadworms, and summer sores. Zimecterin Gold Ivermectin & Praziquantel Paste Horse Treatment is also effective in treating your horse’s dermatitis brought on by neck threadworm microfilariae. This oral paste is safe and effective for horses of all classes over the age of 2 months.
ZIMECTERIN® GOLD (ivermectin 1.55% / praziquantel 7.75%) has been formulated specifically for use in horses only. This product should not be used in other animal species as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs, may result.
Post-Approval Experience: Although not all adverse reactions are reported, the following reactions are based on voluntary post-approval drug experience reporting. There have been rare reports of swelling and irritation of the mouth, lips, and tongue following administration of ZIMECTERIN GOLD. These reactions have been transitory in nature.
